How will the groups be split?
- Beginners (Splash: Reception- Yrs 1 & 2) – Designed for children new to the water or those building basic comfort. Focus is on developing water confidence, essential water skills, and fundamental movements such as safe entry/exit, floating on their front and back, and basic kicking. The group ratio is 1:6 to ensure maximum individual attention.
- Development (Ripple: Yr 2-4) – For confident learners who can move independently in the water. This stage focuses on refining core fundamentals, including streamlining, breath control, and effective kicking, while building coordination and efficiency in preparation for stroke work. The group ratio is 1:8.
- Intermediate (Waves: Yr 3-6) – For confident swimmers ready to engage in stroke development. This stage focuses on connecting core fundamentals to the four competitive strokes, including technical refinement, building swimming endurance, and learning basic starts and turns. The group ratio is 1:10
